The next one on theIEM Katowice 2025 schedule is Stage 2, which will happen from February 1st till 4th, while the playoffs are taking place on the eighth and ninth of February. FAQ
The latest time a player may submit their predictions before the tournament in our Counter-Strike2 PickEm Site is right before the start of one of the three tournament rounds: before the play-in (starts on January 29th), the group stage (starts February 1st), and play-offs (beginning February 7th).
There are three stages at Katowice IEM. The play-in involves 16 teams qualifying for the tournament via qualification. In the play-off stage, the best eight teams out of the first 16 compete, with eight teams invited to the competition thanks to their high rankings. Six of the best teams from the playoffs advance to the next stages: two of the best go straight to the semifinals, runners-up qualify for the quarter-finals as high seeds, and third-place winners go there as low seeds.
Easy: the only way to get points is to predict the match’s winner correctly! In the pre-game stage of IEM 2025 Katowice, you receive 1 point per successful prediction. Playoffs, quarter-finals, and semi-finals grant 2 points; the final is worth four. Remember that you must submit your prognosis before the stage begins!
Participating in our Pick’em tournament allows you to win one of the available prizes – skins for Counter-Strike 2 characters, gaming mice and keyboards, or a super-prize – PlayStation 5.
Katowice IEM game rules do not differ from other rules of Dota 2 tournaments. Players must adhere to the code of conduct, comply with sponsor and media obligations, as well as present themselves in a sportsmanlike way. Besides, they must meet age criteria (no participants younger than 18), abstain from cheating, using doping, or behaving in a way that isn’t approved by the rules. IEM Katowice rules also specify penalties for the latter. You can read the detailed list of rules on the tournaments page.
The Katowice IEM Counter-Strike 2 tournament has the usual roster restrictions traditionally applied for all CS2 tournaments. Teams must present one coach, five players, and five substitutes no later than 120 days before the tournament starts. Substitutions are only allowed in special cases and conditions and only after approval by the competition’s organizers.
