MESA Nomadic Masters 2024 Spring Tournament Information
MESA has officially announced the full program of its Nomadic Masters Spring tournament and the first round of matches for teams. The tournament will run from May 28 to June 2 and will pit eight teams from Asia and Europe against each other for a total prize pool of $100,000.
The tournament will be played in a double-elimination format. All matches will be best of three except the grand final, which will be best of five. While the first three days of the tournament will be held in MESA’s own LAN studios, the final two days of the tournament will be held at the Ice House with a live audience.
The teams’ first or n-turn performances have generally been tuned to play between the Asian region and the European zone, so as to attract a lot of audience interest. In an interview with MESA about this, they said: “This time’s tournament scores were tuned to play against each other at least once, rather than being matched because we were ranked teams in teams. We hope this will make for a better tournament experience for both our teams and our viewers.”
Four of the eight teams participating were invited from Europe, while two of the four Asian teams were ranked (The MongolZ and Lynn Vision), with one of the remaining two teams highlighted from the MESA Pro Series Spring and the other from the MESA Pro Series Finals, respectively.
For tournament tickets, there are 3 groups and seats are regular, fan section A and fan section B. The tickets have already been on sale for three weeks and are being sold at discounted prices of 30,000 tugrug, 50,000 tugrug and 100,000 tugrug, and will increase to 50,000 tugrug, 100,000 tugrug and 150,000 tugrug respectively at the end of the discount period.
