Recent CS2 updates
Valve hadnât released any major update to CS2 since last monthâs On the Other Hand update, but recently there was an update called Fire Sale, and here is a detailed explanation of what has been fixed and changed.
In a small update for users with AMD graphics cards that came before, the game now supports their AMD Anti-Lag 2 technology.
Gameplay
- The fire animations for the Molotov and Incendiary Grenade now fade over time.
- If you plant a bomb on the terrorist side but it is defused and you lose a round, you would previously earn 800 dollars. This has been reduced to 600 dollars. This diminishes the impact of the first round on subsequent rounds.
- The price of the M4A4 gun has dropped by $100 from $3100 to $3000.
- Minor fixes related to the playerâs camera have been made.
- Special commands like switchhandsleft and switchhandsright have been added.
- Bonus weapons in Deathmatch are now the same for all players regardless of loadout.
- For the Incendiary Grenade, the flame visibility, duration, and the range of the spread has been reduced, and the price has also been reduced from $600 to $500.
WEAPON RENTAL
There is a new feature in the game where you can rent weapon skins. Initially, this will only work for Kilowatt cases. Letâs describe the feature in more detail.
- At present, the player can only rent Kilowatt case guns.
- To rent, you need both a case and a key.
- A one-time rental period is 7 days. As soon as the rental period expires, the weapon skins disappear from the inventory automatically.
- Weapon skin rentals do not include knives and gloves, only gun skins.
- The wear rating of rental guns will be random.
- Actions such as applying stickers on the rental gun and naming the gun cannot be performed.
Rental gun skins do not appear in the playerâs inventory on Steam and only appear in the renterâs own in-game inventory.
Following the release of the update, the price of Kilowatt case gun skins began to fall, whereas the price of the case went up. Therefore, this financial model could prove to be rather effective overall. For a player, using 19 gun skins for 7 days at a price of about $4 per chest and key isnât too expensive.
So, letâs get back to the gameâs other updates.
